About Michelle Buchanan

Michelle is dual licensed as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Michelle is additionally certified as a Florida Supreme Court Family Mediator and Florida Court-Appointed Parenting Coordinator. She is an experienced reunification counselor who works with families needing court-ordered reunification services.

Michelle is certified as an instructor on Gottman's Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work program.

She received a Bachelor’s degree with a double major in Psychology and Law from Clark University, in Worcester Massachusetts, and a Master's degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Assumption College (In conjunction with The Aaron T. Beck Institute for Cognitive Studies) with an emphasis in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT).

Michelle loves bringing people together to achieve healthy relationships, communication practices, and overall wellness in life. She seeks to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for her clients, and believes in making counseling and related services a positive experience.
