About Michelle Buchanan

Michelle is dual licensed as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Michelle is additionally certified as a Florida Supreme Court Family Mediator and Florida Court-Appointed Parenting Coordinator. She is an experienced reunification counselor who works with families needing court-ordered reunification services. She takes a proactive approach to collaboratively building or re-building healthy relationships.

Michelle is certified as a Gottman's Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work program instructor. She works with couples using an eclectic approach, deriving much of the research, data, and couples strategies from the internationally acclaimed Gottman methodology.

Michelle loves bringing people together to achieve healthy relationships, communication practices, and overall wellness in life. She seeks to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for her clients, and believes in making counseling and related services a positive and productive experience.
